Alleghany Memorial Hospital Foundation (AMH Foundation) is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to support Alleghany Health by providing financial support to assist the hospital in achieving its mission to provide high-quality healthcare to the citizens of Alleghany and Grayson counties. Funds raised are used for capital expenditures such as clinical equipment, medical service-related expenses, and facility infrastructure where appropriate. In addition, the Foundation services to promote, encourage, solicit, receive, and administer contributions, gifts, bequests, and other donations.

The AMH Foundation hosts two special event fundraisers annually, these events raise a large majority of funds for the Foundation. The Annual AMH Foundation Golf Tournament is always held the first Thursday in June at Roaring Gap Club. The Annual Fashion Show is held during the month of August and features lunch and fashions provided by DB Design and The Posh Fox of Roaring Gap, NC.

The Foundation also oversees the Alleghany Memorial Hospital Thrift Shop that donates 100% of proceeds to the Foundation. The thrift shop is located on Highway 21 in Roaring Gap, NC and is open seasonally from mid-May through mid-September, Wednesday – Saturday.
